Bridge of Dye

Time to get out so made for Bridge of Dye, where the old and new bridges, built a whisker apart are flanked by some stone-built pill boxes. The old bridge is stunning as is the setting both marred only by concrete modernity. The buttressing beneath the old structure reminded me of a vaulted cathedral roof.

Further up Cairn O’ Mount the snow remains but spring is in the air.
