121210 My lake runneth over

Menaridden, mediaeval hospice of moorland ghosts and during the reign of the king who lost America, home of little William Hooper.

The lake is about as full as it can get, even the blackened trunks of the dead pines behind the flooded farmstead of Menaridden are now submerged.

This is an artificial lake and relatively recent.

And later some roadside signage for football fans and so on.

More pics of Menaridden on these links.

    • The panniers are perfectly placed (credit to the M.O.D., not me) and allow full steering lock, neutral front to aft weight distribution and warm (well, less cold) knees.
