121203 Bosent Cross

A couple of smudges of Bosent Cross near Duloe.

Often when passing this crossroads I think of the late Ken Philp, Cornishman and great Ner-a-car fan.

Ken was author of this great website and a lover of saffron cake if I remember rightly.

The low stone to be seen nestled in the grass to the rear of the bike has a plaque on it which says “Ordnance Survey”. I wonder if it’s a local equivalent of an Australian “Toll Bar Point”.
